A 5.5 ft-long Rat snake with it's head in an empty beer can was found in Chendipada of Angul district of Odisha on Tuesday. Upon information, snake helpline volunteer Himanshu Sekhar Dehury rescued the snake. The snake could only be freed by cutting the can. After medical check-up it was later released back to an alternate natural habitat.
