To nab anti-social elements,Hoshiarpur police arrests 17 people in 13 separate cases

Hoshiarpur, Jun 16 (UNI) In its drive against anti-social elements the district police Hoshiarpur have arrested 17 people in 13 separate cases and seized huge quantity of heroin, intoxicant powder, liquor and pistol with live cartridges from them.
City police arrested Rahul, alias Dani, son of Charanjit Singh of Jandiala Guru (Amritsar) and seized 15 gram Heroin, 285 gram intoxicant powder, a 7.65 bore pistol alongwith 34 live cartridges and one Polo car from him Tuesday.
In another case City police arrested Sahil, alias Amritsaria, son of Raj Kumar of Amritsar, presently residing in local Balmiki Mohalla and Sahil, alias Naka, son of Ashok Kumar, a local resident and seized 40 gram heroin and 605 gram intoxicant powder from them.
Sardar police arrested Rohit Kumar, alias Suraj, of village Sherpur Gulind and seized 30 gram intoxicant powder from him.
In one more case, Sadar police arrested Kulwinder Singh, Ram and Jagir Singh, all of Bajwara and seized 15 Kg poppy husk from them.
Bulhowal police arrested Bhupinder Singh of Bakhlan and seized 20 gram intoxicant powder from him.
Hajipur police arrested Sunny of Mehtabpur and seized 28 gram intoxicant powder and one motorcycle from him.
Mahilpur police arrested Kulwant Singh, alias Sabu, of Bharatpur Jattan and seized 25 gram intoxicant powder from him.
Mukerian police arrested Amrik Singh of Potta and seized 32 gram intoxicant powder from him. In one more case, Mukerian police arrested Lal Chand, alias Lalu, of Budhewal and Saurav, alias Bhichi, of Mukerian and seized 50 gram intoxicant powder from him.
Haryana police arrested Gaurav of Garhdiwala and seized 107 gram intoxicant powder and one motorcycle from him.
Chabbewal police arrested Raman Kumar of Bahadurpur Bahian and seized 45 gram intoxicant material and one Maruti car from him.
Garhdiwala police arrested Inderjit Singh of Argowal and seized 68 gram intoxicant powder from him.
Model Town police arrested Des Raj of Baglal PS Palampur, presently residing at local Rahimpur and seized 43 bottles of Club Gold whisky from him.
