Monsoon Watch: Jharkhand to receive rainfall for next seven days

Ranchi, Jun 16 (UNI) Monsoon has become fully active in the state the as a result of which over the next one week the state will daily witness light to medium range of rainfall.

The MET Station has predicted that till June 20 rainfall will continue in the state while on June 21 thunderstorms are expected. In the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature has fallen down by two degrees with the maximum temperature being recorded at 30.2 degrees while the minimum was at 23.1 degrees.

In the first 15 days of June Ranchi has so far recorded 207.5 mm of rainfall while in the last 24 hours only 2 mm of rainfall has taken place.

The moisture content in the wind was a maximum at 90 per cent while the minimum was 76 per cent. The maximum temperature and the minimum temperature are likely to take a further dip in the state due to the rainfall.
