Riding on the best-ever fertilizer sale of 59.37 Lakh MT, NFL has achieved a profit (PBT) of Rs.343.46 crore during 2020-21. The net profit of the company was registered at Rs. 249.63 crore.
The results of the company were approved by the Board of Directors in its meeting held on June 10, 2021. During 2020-21, the company sold 50.10 Lakh MT of urea, including imported urea, compared to 47.93 LMT recorded in previous year. Company also fared well in marketing of other fertilizers like DAP, MoP, NPK etc. where a sale of 9.27 Lakh MT was registered in 2020-21 as compared to 9.10 Lakh MT in previous year. The company produced 37.99 Lakh MT of urea in its own plants during the year by recording a capacity utilisation of 117.59% as against production of 37.27 Lakh MT during the previous year.
