ICC WTC Final: India Squad for World Test Championship final announced: KL Rahul misses out from 15-member squad- Team India on Tuesday announced a 15-member squad for the World Test Championship final against New Zealand. Mohammed Siraj has been included in the squad while Mayank Agarwal and KL Rahul have been left out.
It means Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma will be opening the batting for the Virat Kohli-led side. Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have been chosen as the spinners, while Wriddhiman Saha has also been named in the squad along with Rishabh Pant. The Kiwis have already entered the bio-bubble for the summit clash having defeated England in the two-match Test series.
KL Rahul failed to make it to the squad with the likes of specialist wicket-keepers Wriddhiman Saha and Rishabh Pant in the squad. Shubman Gill, who performed well in Australia, was chosen ahead of the Mayank Agarwal.

Virat Kohli will lead India in the World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand from June 18 at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton to decide the first champion side of the longest format.
Meanwhile, New Zealand have announced their final squad for the ICC WTC Final.
New Zealand WTC final squad: Tom Latham, Devon Conway, Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, Henry Nicholls, Will Young, BJ Watling, Tom Blundell, Colin de Grandhomme, Kyle Jamieson, Tim Southee, Neil Wagner, Ajaz Patel, Trent Boult, Matt Henry.
