Stalin faces threat, placed on +Z+ scale security

Chennai, June 16 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin,
who will be leaving for New Delhi tomorrow morning, has been
placed under +Z+ scale category security due to threats from
religious fundamentalists.
As per the official tour programme released here today, the
Chief Minister is facing threat from religious fundamentalists,
Tamil chauvinists and disgruntled elements and has been
placed on +Z+ Scale Category of Security.
Mr Stalin will leave for Delhi tomorrow morning at 0730 hrs by
a special flight and reach the National Capital at 1000 hrs.
During his visit, he would be staying at the Tamil Nadu House.
He would meet Mr Modi at 1700 hrs tomorrow evening and submit
a memorandum on various issues concerning the State, including
handing over on lease basis to Tamil Nadu the Integrated Vaccine
Complex set up by HLL Bio-Tech Limited in Chengalpattu, for
vaccine production and the need to speed up AIIMS project in
Madurai.
He would leave for Chennai tomorrow evening by a special flight.
Reports said that, this being his first visit to Delhi after becoming
the Chief Minister, Mr Stalin is also expected to meet President
Ram Nath Kovind, Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu and several
Union Ministers.
During his visit, Mr Stalin will also call on DMK's alliance party
leaders, including Congress President and UPA Chairperson
Sonia Gandhi, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, CPI and CPI(M)
leaders.
He is also likely to visit the DMK party office in the national
capital.
He would leave for Chennai on Friday morning by a special
flight.
