ICSI CS June exam 2021: Students to get 'opt-out' facility, check details here

NEW DELHI: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India will conduct the June 2021 session of examinations from August 10 to 20, 2021.

The institute has decided to give a one-time option for students to 'opt out from the June 2021 session due to the Covid-19 situation. The fee of June 2021 will carry forward to the December 2021 session of examinations. It should be noted that the opt-out facility will be available to students of Foundation, Executive, Professional Programmes.

"Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Institute has decided to give a one-time option to the students to "Opt-Out" from the June 2021 session of the Examinations by carrying forward the credit of examination fee to December 2021 session of examinations. The opt-out facility shall be available to students of Foundation, Executive, Professional Programmes," the Institute said in a notice issued on Tuesday.

Candidates who want to avail opt-out facility required to submit their request through the prescribed google form link available on ICSI's website. "On receipt of the opt-out request through google forms, student's enrollment for June 2021 session of examination will be cancelled and his/ her candidature will be carried forward to December 2021 session," the notice added. It should be noted that for students who opt-out for December 2021 exam, their syllabus (and elective subjects, for students of Professional Programme) would remain the same as it is, in which he/she was enrolled for the June 2021 session of examination.
