STOCKHOLM: Sweden's economy will pick up speed and the situation in the job market has improved, but the pandemic makes developments uncertain, the Public Employment Service said in a new forecast on Wednesday.
It saw unemployment at 8.0% this year against a previous forecast of 9.1% and falling further to 7.4% in 2022.
Unemployment was 7.0% in 2019 before the pandemic struck.
