BHOPAL: IAS officer Lokesh Jangid has made viral on social media the taped conversations of principal secretary (personnel), Deepti Gaud Mukherjee.
A notice has been issued to Jangid for it. He has been asked to explain why an action should not be taken against him for making the conversations of a senior IAS officer public.
According to sources, Jangid may be suspended in the coming days.
Medical Education Minister Vishwash Sarang says that an officer should remain within discipline.
According to the minister, it is an offence to tape the conversations of a senior officer and to make it viral on social.
The way the chat was made viral is against ethics, Sarang said, adding that nothing is more important the system in which everyone functions.
Sarang said that Jagid must clear his position in reply to the notice and that a stern action would be taken against him (Jangid).
