The Karnataka government plans to begin the next academic year soon.
The Karnataka Minister of Higher Education Dr. Ashwathnarayan CN on Tuesday has announced that the state will start the next session in October. The Ministery too has plans of conducting Semester exams for Undergraduate and Post Graduate soon.
Vice-Chancellors of all universities are working towards holding the semester exams for the UG and PG students soon, Dr. Ashwathnarayan who is also the Deputy Chief Minister said.

We intend to commence next academic year on Oct 2021. VCs of all universities are working towards it. We are also launching a unified university management system in July. Our objective is to make Karnataka a leading education hub.

While announcing the tentative timeline to start the next academic year, the Higher Education Minister also added that Vice Chancellors and college chiefs must ensure all students above 18 years are vaccinated against Covid so that the next academic year starts normally.
With the objective of making Karnataka a leading education hub, the government will also launch a unified university management system in July.
