Only vaccinated staff on duty at all properties.
The other three hotels at Gangtok, Port Blair and Ooty shall remain closed till 21st June 2021. The Company is awaiting announcement of relaxation of restrictions by the respective State Governments/Union Territory.
The company has sponsored the vaccination of all its staff members and a majority of them have been vaccinated. The Company has decided that only vaccinated staff would be on duty at all its properties.
With vaccination happening around the country at a fast pace, it is expected that the travel restrictions would soon be eased further and tourist movement all over the country is expected to gain momentum. All the eight Sinclairs properties have been maintained in excellent condition during the closure and with full safety protocols in place are ready and look forward to receive and serve guests again.
The hospitality industry analysts expect a rush of travel once the restrictions are eased, on account of the pent-up demand which has virtually brought travel to a halt for well over a year. The Company has been receiving regular enquiries from business and leisure travelers regarding the opening of its properties and expects a surge in bookings as witnessed when the properties opened for business after the first wave of the pandemic.
