Hatpipliya: Acting on a tip-off received by a constable, the cops chased a car carrying stolen goods and seized a total of 9 sacks of Ecom Express Company and confiscated goods worth about Rs 8 lakh on Monday.
After receiving information constable Jeevan Malviya was on a lookout for a Hyundai car, while patrolling in Karnavad. He saw a seen moving towards Chapra at a high speed and alerted station in-charge.
The cops cordoned off the area and finally caught the car in the area lying between Chasia and Rahli village.
However, the accused managed to give the cops a slip and fled from the spot.
After a thorough search of the caught car, 9 sacks were recovered.
