Delhi water supply: LG Anil Baijal speaks to UP, Haryana CMs

NEW DELHI: Delhi Lt Governor Anil Baijal has spoken to Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath and will be speaking to Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar regarding water supply to Delhi, ANI reported quoting sources.

The Delhi LG has been monitoring the situation of water supply in the national capital and had sought detailed reports from the Delhi Jal Board and the New Delhi Municipal Council after incidents of shortage, especially in Jhuggi colonies, they said.
In this regard, Delhi LG has sought a comprehensive status report from Delhi Jal Board that will be followed by a detailed time-bound action plan, they added.
