Yamaha India reduces prices of FZ 25 and FZS 25 up to Rs 19,300

Yamaha India slashed the price of two quarter-litre premium category bikes due to a reduction in input cost. The price of the FZ 25 has been reduced by Rs 18,800 and that of FZS 25 by Rs 19,300. The new prices of the Yamaha FZ 25 are Rs134,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the Yamaha FZS 25 and Rs139,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. The two quarter-litre class motorcycles come with the previous styling, standard features and specifications.

Yamaha said that they have managed to reduce the prices due to a reduction in input cost and passed on the benefit to the customers. They hope to see a surge in sales for these two motorcycles due to the price decrease.

The Yamaha FZ 25 and FZS 25 motorcycles are powered by a 249cc single-cylinder engine that is mated to a five-speed transmission. It churns out 20.5 hp of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 20.1 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm.

is currently working on the new FZ-X and it is in the testing phase. The company currently does not have any multi-cylinder motorcycle in its portfolio.
