Cristiano Ronaldo Is Losing a Massive Amount of Money on His Trump Tower Apartment (Photos)

Cristiano Ronaldo is looking to get rid of his apartment in Trump Tower in New York City and he’s prepared to take a massive loss on the sale.

The 36-year-old soccer star bought an apartment at 721 Fifth Avenue back in 2015, before Donald Trump was elected president of the United States. The purchase was completed two months after Trump announced that he was running for president.

Cristiano bought the three bedroom apartment for $18.5 million and he’s selling it for a lot less money.

The ask price on the apartment is currently $7.75 million, according to the New York Post. That will amount to a $10.75 million loss on the apartment.

The loss probably won’t be too noticeable for Cristiano though since last year, he became the first active team-sport athlete to surpass $1 billion in career earnings.
