The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ASIAN PAINTS (up 2.7%), AXIS BANK (up 1.7%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 1.2%). Other gainers include TATA STEEL (up 1.2%) and ICICI BANK (up 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and INFOSYS.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 15,902 (up 0.5%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include ASIAN PAINTS (up 2.7%), AXIS BANK (up 1.7%) and EICHER MOTOR (up 1.4%). Other gainers include INDUSIND BANK (up 1.3%) and ONGC (up 1.2%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 33,538 to 52,870, registering a gain of 19,332 points (up 57.52%).
GMR INFRA net profit down at Rs 10 billion for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 3 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 6.9% to Rs 23.5 billion during the period as against Rs 22.0 billion in January-March 2019.
For the year ended March 2018, GMR INFRA reported 266.4% increase in net profit to Rs 6.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.8 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 8.7% to Rs 87 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of GMR INFRA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 9.7x.
