Realme Buds Q2 wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation to launch soon in India

Realme Buds Q2 truly wireless earphones are coming to India soon. The teaser for the Buds Q2 is out on the company website, which confirms the successor to last year's Buds Q is coming, but there is no date available yet. But if we were to guess, the Realme Buds Q2 could tag along with the Narzo 30 4G and Narzo 30 5G smartphones that are due for launch later this month. According to a tipster, Realme will hold an event in India on June 24 to launch the new products.

The new Realme Buds Q2 debuted in Pakistan back in April as the company's most affordable pair of truly wireless earbuds that takes major design cues from last year's Buds Q. Realme Buds Q, which arrived last year, was designed by French designer Jose Levy, featuring a cobblestone-like design with in-ear earphones. The Buds Q2 are going to look more or less the same, but there is going to be a major addition to the features. The teasers have revealed the Buds Q2 will come with active noise cancellation. And that will make Buds Q2 one of the cheapest TWS earbuds with ANC in India.

Interestingly, the Buds Q2 available in Pakistan only features environmental noise cancellation (ENC), so Realme is giving its last year's affordable earbuds a big overhaul with Buds Q2, at least in the Indian market. ENC is not as effective as ANC, which cancels out the noise entirely and even offers a dedicated mode to carry out conversations without having to remove the earbuds. Realme's most affordable pair of earbuds with ANC is the Realme Buds Air 2 that debuted earlier this year for a price of Rs 3,299.

Considering Realme is going for a major upgrade, the Buds Q2 may feature a USB-C port instead of the MicroUSB port that you see on the Realme Buds Q2 in Pakistan and the Buds Q from last year. And apart from this, if everything else remains the same as the Buds Q2 sold in Pakistan, the Indian version will have 10mm Bass Boost drivers, an 88ms low-latency Gaming Mode, gestures, support for the voice assistant, IPX4 water resistance, and 20 hours of playback time.

But, at the same time, the Buds Q2 in the teaser on the website looks a bit different from the Buds Q2 available in Pakistan. The upcoming Buds Q2 look more like the Buds Air 2 Neo that debuted in April. The Buds Air 2 Neo have support for active noise cancellation, which is why it looks like Realme is going to bring an old product with a new name to India.

Meanwhile, Realme is holding a global event today where it will launch the GT 5G flagship and the Realme Robot Vacuum, alongside the company's first laptop, Realme Book and tablet, Realme Pad.
