Nitish announces more relaxations in working hours

Patna, Jun 15 (UNI) Keeping in mind the sharp decline in fresh positive cases of coronavirus, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today announced to relax night curfew by an hour and increased the working hours of the offices and business establishments by an hour.

The decision for the relaxations was taken in a meeting of crisis management group held under the chairmanship of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar during the day to review the scenario.

Soon after the meeting, the Chief Minister informed about the decisions through his official tweet on social media.

The relaxations would continue from June 16 till June 22.

Under the new provisions, all government and non-government offices have been allowed to operate till 5:00 p.m. and the shops and other business establishments till 6:00 p.m.

The night curfew would be from 8 p.m. till 5 a.m. he informed.

Earlier the shops and the government, as well as non-government offices, were allowed to operate only till 4 p.m. with 50pc attendance and the business establishments till 5 p.m.

The night curfew earlier was from 7 p.m. till 5 a.m.
