Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd announces Covid 19 Support initiative for Employees

Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd, one of Asia’s largest EMS service provider company that engages over 10,000 workforces across India. These are frontline health workers who are engaged in our services of ambulance operation, tele medicine helpline and medical rooms. Especially our ambulance crew are the first line of care and patient stabilization for covid patients. It is imperative for us to ensure our staff and their family members safety in the fight against pandemic. Thus at organization level some of the initiatives taken by Ambulance 108 for health and safety of their ambulance drivers are insurance plan for them and their family, on the vaccination front it is ensuring that both the doses are administered to its employees, extending support to them in case of emergency or hospitalization, pick and drop facility for staff to avoid any hassle in reaching workplace, maintaining regular health check-up, paid leave for covid care or recovery and more.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Chandan Datta – Head Of Government , Ziqitza Healthcare Limited said, “Keeping in mind the severity of second wave ofCOVID19 it becomes our utmost responsibility to ensure safety of our ambulance drivers and their families and support each other in every possible way. We are taking all initiatives to vaccinate our employees, provide them with all sort of medical support, and supplement financial needs and resources wherever needed. We are doing our every bit to support them and have also encouraged rotation based shifts to decrease workload on ambulance driver’s .Along with that we are also taking care of covid 19 patients since February and are following all covid 19 protocols for the safety of our employees and crew.  In these uncertain and challenging times we must support each other.”

Each individual of Ziqitza team has experienced extreme personal hardship in serving the citizens of this country since the covid crisis unfolded. With our prime objective being the service of people in tiring times like these, we had to up-scale our services over-night. A two-fold approach is adopted to manage COVID-19 situations. Firstly, we work to provide ambulances for covid patients and their families with proper precautions under the emergency helpline number 108. Secondly, we have made available a tele medical helpline (104) to give people verified information regarding the disease and keeping panic and mental stress at bay.

Since the onset of the pandemic, Ziqitza Healthcare Limited managed call center hubs in multiple states has been answering each call regarding covid with utmost care and in adherence with protocols received from state governments. In battling with covid, we had to scale up our call centre manpower -Paramedics on ground or doctors at helpline and also be prepared to receive 20x of calls inflow in a day than usual. With the healthcare policies evolving dynamically during the pandemic, Ziqitza, being the first line of defence in the pandemic, had to scale up overnight. This experience taught our team to leverage our training, protocols and relationships with vendors/employees to ensure that our services are not impacted. Ziqitza Rajasthan & Ziqitza limited Rajasthan had voiced similar thoughts during the pandemic.

Ziqitza was born with the Goal of providing affordable Emergency Medical Care to those in need and thus save lives. It has come a long way since its founding years and has today become one of the largest private players in pre hospital care space in India.

In the years ahead, Ziqitza Healthcare’s Vision of Saving Lives; Enhancing Lives, will continue apace and ZHL’s mission to become India’s largest and best Emergency Medical Services provider will become reality.
