Visually stunning designs and inventions that are incredibly satisfying to watch.

The plates and bowls designed to stimulate your taste buds

Created by Teresa Berger, Beyond Taste aims to reconnect you with your food using the study of gastrophysics. The idea claims our perception of food may be influenced by more than just taste. The tableware resembles the natural environment of its ingredients and plays on what you see, hear, smell and touch to create what’s called a multisensory experience.

Beyond Taste is one of the nominees for the 2021 Index Award – a prize for innovative design solutions that address genuine needs and hold the potential to improve life.
