The Rajasthan government is working systematically to make the state self-reliant in the field of medical oxygen. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said this while addressing the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony of development works of about Rs 39 crore related to health services in the Jodhpur district on Monday through video conference.
During this, Ashok Gehlot said that because of the crisis of oxygen faced by the entire country and the state in the second wave of Corona, setting up of oxygen generation plants in various hospitals from district hospitals to CHC and PHC level, pipelines have been made. Oxygen concentrators are being made available along with developing an oxygen supply system through this. Due to this, even if the third wave comes in the coming time, then the state hospitals of the state will be ready to compete with it.
The Chief Minister said that the kind of corona management done by Rajasthan during the first wave of Covid infection and the deadly second wave after it has been appreciated all over the country.
Ashok Gehlot said that we endeavor to open government medical colleges in all the districts of the state. Now only Jalore, Rajsamand, and Pratapgarh are the districts where approval of Government Medical College has not been received. It will be our endeavor that government medical colleges should be approved in these districts also.
