The “Hometown Heroes” parade, to honor New York City’s front line workers, will be held on July 7. The Brooklyn Nets championship parade? If the Fragile 3 (Snap, Crackle and Pop) don’t get their act together, there may not be one.

“I don’t think there’s any getting used to fricking losing. Hell no.” Take it from Stitches, Aaron Boone, you get used to it. The Yankees have outdone us though, losing seven of their past nine before shuffling off to Buffalo to face the Jays. With Luis Severino suffering another setback, Jordan Montgomery (3-1, 3.99 ERA) has to step up. Monty allowed three runs in 4 ²/₃ innings vs. Jays in The Bronx back in May. Toronto (LOL) will start Hyun Jin Ryu (5-4, 3.34 ERA), hit up for 10 runs over 11 ²/₃ innings in losing his past two starts. George Springer, doing his best imitation of a Brooklyn Net, is still out. Aaron Judge is questionable. Play 10 units on the Blue Jays.

Close game, but we still came out on the wrong side. Nats 3, Pirates 2. Kyle Schwarber went deep for the winners. Down -1,439 clementes.
