In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 15,902 (up 0.5%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include ONGC (up 2.4%), ASIAN PAINTS (up 2.3%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 1.7%). Other gainers include TATA STEEL (up 1.2%) and AXIS BANK (up 1.2%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 33,538 to 52,870, registering a gain of 19,332 points (up 57.48%).
MRPL net profit down at Rs 16 billion for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 366 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 4.8% to Rs 175.5 billion during the period as against Rs 167.4 billion in January-March 2019.
For the year ended March 2018, MRPL reported 6.4% increase in net profit to Rs 18.0 billion compared to net profit of Rs 16.9 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 6.2% to Rs 637 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of MRPL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 3.5x.
