Friday's seven-day test positivity rate was a record low. But the number of tests completed in the past seven days – 114,190 – was about half of the number the last time positivity was this low during a week in September.
The number of COVID-19 patients hospitalized statewide – 595 – was the lowest since Sept. 24, when 586 people were hospitalized.
