39-yr-old man dies in ceiling crash in Thane

Thane, Jun 14 (UNI) A 39-year-old man died when a portion of ceiling of a house collapsed on him in Mira Road-Bhayandar township on Monday.
The ceiling of the first floor flat in Rosy Villa in the western part of the township collapsed at noon, sources in the fire brigade said.
The occupant of the flat, Camy Pinto, died when the ceiling crashed on him.
The firemen rushed to the scene and carried out rescue operations.
The body of the deceased was sent to the government hospital here for post-mortem.
The local police have registered a case of accidental death in this connection, sources added.
