Local Company Launches Fellowship to Support Minority Owned Businesses
CASTUS, a consulting company based in Pittsburgh, is offering Minority Business Owners the chance to receive free business development and legal counseling as well as cash funding.
PITTSBURGH, June 14, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- CASTUS has launched a new Fellowship to help Minority Business Owners achieve their goals.
"One year ago, we joined thousands of companies in speaking out against violence, racism, and inequality. But it's easy to speak out against something so blatantly wrong. The hard part is turning words into action," said CASTUS Founder, Damon Claus.
"We've spent the last year thinking critically about how to help the people and companies that need it most, and asking ourselves "how can CASTUS create meaningful change?" The answer was simple, yet profound. Be deliberately inclusive with our words and direct with our actions.
Today, we announce the first cohort of the CASTUS Fellowship for Minority Business Owners and an update to our mission statement. If we do nothing else - I will forever be proud of the CASTUS team and the fact that we moved from words to action. We challenged ourselves to be more and we hopefully will inspire others to do the same."
Five Business Owners will be chosen to attend the SMB Workshop – a ½ day session including:
