Indian Railways to resume long-distance trains this week. Check full list here
The Indian Railways has decided to resume several long-distance trains, which were shut down in April as the deadly second wave of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) reached its peak. The decision has been prompted by a steady downward trajectory of daily Covid-19 cases across the country.
The decline has also led to various states lifting or lifting with conditions restrictions that were imposed to spread the curb of the viral disease, thus making it easier for the Indian Railways to resume its long-distance trains.
