Veteran Congress leader and MLA Bhanwar Lal Sharma who was once believed to be a close associate of Sachin Pilot, the former deputy CM of Rajasthan, has advised him to resolve the issues with CM Ashok Gehlot and said, "The committee is not going to do anything as committees are made just to pacify the situation."

Bhanwar Lal Sharma was one of the 19 MLAs who had gone to Manesar with Sachin Pilot last July during the political crisis of the Gehlot government.

While talking to media on Tuesday in Jaipur he said, "The high command has chosen Ashok Gehlot as leader and Pilot should follow the party decision."

He admitted that he had gone to Manesar as his works were not getting done but now CM has fulfilled all his demands. He said that he has no desire to become a minister.

He discarded the committee made by party high command to consider the demands of Pilot faction and said, "My political experience say that nothing is going to happen in this committee as committees are made just to pacify the situation."

Notably, he was the MLA whose audio clip of alleged telephonic conversion with a union minister had gone viral during last year’s political crisis.

In the meantime, 6 BSP MLAs who switched over to Congress are supporting the government and have said that they are with CM Ashok Gehlot. They criticized the Pilot faction and said, "How come a faction who betrayed the party is pressurizing the party high command and why party is listening to them?" It is to note that these MLAs had raised the issue of cabinet expansion on Monday.
