Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan took to social media to remember her "Kedarnath" co-star Sushant Singh Rajput on his first death anniversary on Monday.

Sara made her Bollywood debut with the 2018 film "Kedarnath" where she featured alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. The two stars were rumoured to have dated for a while around the time.

On Monday, Sara shared a throwback photograph on Instagram where poses with Sushant in a swimming pool.

"Whenever I needed help, advice or a laugh you were always there. You introduced me to the world of acting, made me believe that dreams could come true, and gave me all that I have today. Still can't believe you're gone. But every time I look at the stars, the rising sun or the moon I know you're here. From Kedarnath to Andromeda," the actress wrote.

However, the actress was brutally trolled for the same. Check out the comments below.

Earlier this month, Sushant's girlfriend and actress Rhea Chakraborty had named Sara Ali Khan in a statement to the Narcotics Control Bureau over alleged drug use.

Sara Ali Khan was summoned by the NCB in 2020 following Rhea's confession of using substance with her.

Sushant Singh Rajput, who was fondly known for portraying diverse roles with perfection, died by alleged suicide in his apartment on June 14, 2020. It's been a year, but the nation still continues to feel the void left by the late actor.

His passing away triggered a massive controversy, with his family alleging foul play and levelling several allegations on his girlfriend and actor Rhea Chakraborty. Currently, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is probing the matter surrounding his death.
