Bhopal: After a gap of two months, all state government-protected monuments, sites and museums in the state will reopen from June 16, adhering to corona-protection norms.
The government had announced the closure of all these institutions and monuments up to June 15 due to a surge in Covid -19 cases.
In an order issued on Tuesday, Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary, archaeology, archives and museums said that the permission has been given on the condition that all the guidelines and rules issued by the Central Government, State Government, District Disaster Management Committee and district administration of the district concerned regarding Covid protection norms would be strictly followed. The order said that the officers-in-charge of the sites, museums and monuments would be responsible for ensuring that all the protection norms are adhered to.
The MP Tribal Museum will also reopen for visitors from Wednesday. The timings will be 12 pm-8 pm from Mondays to Saturdays.
