CiGen launches a demand service to help small, medium, and large Australian organisations leverage the power of intelligent automation through a subscription fee.
CiGen On Demand is built to help businesses take advantage of automation, the benefits of AI, and is said to increase operational efficiency and productivity. It can automate data entry, the transfer of data between different applications, invoice or document extraction, compliance reporting or accounting, sales, operations, and HR functions.
CiGen says it is one of the first companies to bring the power of robotic process automation (RPA) to Australian organisations.
Leigh Pullen, CiGen co-founder and CEO, explains how automation benefits SMEs but noted how the tools and expertise to create effective automation have been complex and costly, and how it remained as an advantage only for big businesses.
“There’s no need to pay expensive, upfront annual license fees. CiGen On Demand, an Australian-first, replaces all this with an ongoing subscription fee, giving you certainty without a costly capital outlay,” he says.
CiGen On Demand runs on Microsoft Azure infrastructure. When users subscribe on the service, they can run their first automated process within just two weeks.
Pullen adds: “Any repetitive process is a candidate for automation. When you automate a process, you free up staff to perform higher value tasks. You reduce errors caused by boredom, fatigue or inattention when people work on tedious tasks. The results of the process are delivered faster and with greater accuracy, reducing the need for revision. And these processes can run all day, every day.”
CiGen says RPA gives organisations the tools they need to automate the mundane processes that take time and energy from teams.
“Your staff are freed to focus on higher-value, customer facing work, meaning you can leverage new ways to serve customers, innovate and develop new products or services and you can benefit from happier teams that enjoy coming to work and are more loyal. Automation buys you time through speed, enhanced productivity and unparalleled accuracy,” Pullen concludes.
