Algar Telecom teams up with Surf Telecom to expand franchise operation

Brazilian regional operator Algar Telecom is expanding its franchising operation beyond its concession area in the state of Minas Gerais with Surf Telecom as a partner for enabling MVNOs, reports Teletime. The director of Algar Telecom Franquias, Ana Flavia Martins, said that its broadband services will be expanded to cities like Cravinhos, Sertaozinho and Sao Carlos (all in the state of Sao Paulo), in partnership with Surf that will provide voice and data services.
