Cincinnati police ID man shot, killed Monday in Over-the-Rhine

Police have identified a 53-year-old man shot and killed Monday morning in the 1500 block of Goose Alley in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine neighborhood.

Officers responded at approximately 7:30 a.m. to the alley between Race and Republic streets to a report of a person shot, police said in a Monday release.

John Barron was found dead by officers, according to the release.
