The Port Huron Police Department investigated the death of an infant on Sunday afternoon, but Assistant Chief Marcy Kuehn said circumstances do not appear to be suspicious.
Kuehn said authorities received a call about a “baby not breathing” around 1:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Avenue Sunday before detectives arrived to investigate.
At around 7 p.m. Sunday, she said, “We’re crossing all our T’s and dotting all our I’s an talking to all the neighbors.”
The infant was a five-month-old boy.
