Haryana government extends COVID-19 restrictions till June 21, Read details

The Haryana government on Sunday extended the statewide Covid-induced lockdown by a week, till June 21, allowing a few relaxations amid a dip in the daily cases. Shops in the state can now stay open from 9 am to 8 pm, an increase of two hours, and on all seven days of the week.
The other relaxations allowed in the last order will also remain in place- Malls will be allowed to open from 10 am to 8 pm, a maximum of 21 people will be permitted to gather in religious places at one time, corporate offices permitted to open with 50 per cent attendance.
Gyms have also been allowed to open from 6 am to 8 pm with a 50 per cent capacity after adopting requisite social distancing norms, regular sanitisation, and Covid-appropriate behavioural norms.

Haryana on Sunday reported 43 Covid-related deaths taking the cumulative fatalities to 8,992 while 339 fresh infections pushed the total case count to 7,65,861.
