Jammu-Srinagar highway was closed on Friday after a massive landslide in Ramaban district, officials said.
Quoting the officials, news agency GNS reported that landslide occurred at Seri area of the district, leading to the closure of the thoroughfare, the only surface link connecting Kashmir valley with the outside world.
There was no loss of life or injury reported in the incident, officials said.
SSP Ramban P D Nitya told GNS that clearance work was ongoing to restore the highway.
