Srinagar, Jun 14 (UNI) There was no fresh case of mucormycosis known as black fungs reported in the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir, where 12 people lost their lives to corona while 774 new positive cases were reported during the past 24 hours.
An official spokesman said Monday evening that no new case of mucomycosis has been reported in the UT today. However, he said 19 confirmed cases have been reported in the UT so far.
He said 774 new COVID positive cases have been reported during the past 24 hours—229 from Jammu division and 545 from the Kashmir division.
However, 698 from Jammu Division and 1267 from Kashmir Division have also recovered in the UT.
Also, he said 12 COVID-19 deaths have been reported--7 from Jammu Division and --5 from Kashmir division.
