We're one week out from Amazon Prime Day 2021, which returns June 21-22, and if there's one thing you can always count on for Prime Day, it's a ton of deals on Amazon's own smart devices, the most popular of which is the Echo. Since the first Amazon Echo released in 2014, the line has expanded drastically to include numerous generations of Echo Show, Echo Dot, and other interesting products such as the new Echo Buds and Echo Frames. Prime Day Echo deals will bring steep discounts on all of these products, and because Amazon loves to drum up hype for its annual sale, the company is already slashing prices on Echo smart devices.
The single best-selling product of Prime Day 2020 was the Echo Dot, so you expect to see it featured heavily next week. Right now, though, Amazon's offering a bundle discount on two Echo Dots that gets you the pair for $50 with code PDDOT2PK. Also notable is a steep discount on 2019's Echo Show 5, which is on sale for just $45 as an early Prime Day deal. Other early Prime Day Echo deals include the brand-new Echo Buds for $40 off as well as the new Echo Frames for $75 off.
Check out all the best Prime Day Echo deals available so far below. We'll be tracking discounts on the Echo Dot, Echo Show, and more through next week as the sale kicks into high gear. In the meantime, catch up on more of the best Prime Day deals, including TV deals, monitor deals, PlayStation deals, Nintendo Switch deals, and Xbox deals.
Echo Show 5 (2019)
$45 (was $80)
Released in 2019, the 1st Gen Echo Show 5 is down to $45 at Amazon ahead of Prime Day, saving Prime members $35 on the device. With a compact 5.5-inch display that works well in small spaces, the Echo Show 5 has all the usual capabilities of an Echo device, letting you use Alexa to watch news clips or hear the weather, listen to music, play podcasts, adjust smart lighting, and much, much more. It also comes with a clock face that you can customize if you want to use it as a nightstand, featuring ambient sunrise lighting as well. Both the black and white Echo Show 5 models are on sale.
Echo Buds
$80 (was $120)
The brand-new Echo Buds were just released in May, so it's awesome to see a $40 markdown on them for Prime Day. These wireless earbuds feature dynamic audio and active noise cancellation with a lightweight, water-resistant design that makes them great for taking on the go and working out. You'll get up to five hours of music playback on one charge and up to 15 hours with the included charging case, with a 15-minute charge giving you up to two hours of music. You use the Alexa app to control the Echo Buds, and you can also use your voice to make calls, set reminders, and more.
The model that comes with a wired charging case is on sale for $80, or you can opt for the wireless charging case that's on sale for $100--both are $40 off.
Echo Dot (2020)
Get two for $50 with code PDDOT2PK
2020's spherical Echo Dot is on sale for $45 on its own, but why buy it separately when you can get two for $50? With promo code PDDOT2PK at checkout, you can get two Echo Dots in a bundle and save $40. It's convenient to have multiple Echo Dots as you can put them in separate rooms and always have Alexa on hand. You could also keep one and give the other as a gift (don't forget Father's Day is this Sunday).
Echo Auto with free 6 months of Amazon Music Unlimited
$15 (was $50)
This is the lowest price ever for the Echo Auto, Amazon's smart device that's made for hands-free use while driving, and a free six months of Amazon Music Unlimited is included as well--perfect for playing while you're on the road. The Echo Auto plays through your car's speakers via an auxiliary input or Bluetooth, if your car supports that. You can use it for all the usual Alexa functions, including playing music, podcasts, and audiobooks with voice control, checking the news, taking calls, and more.
Echo Frames
$175 (was $250)
Unfortunately, this isn't the Echo Frames model with blue light filtering or polarized sunglass lenses--those are still on sale for $270. But if you want to save some money on a new pair of smart glasses, the 2nd Gen Echo Frames are a great pickup at $175, $75 off for Prime Day. They offer hands-free access to Alexa and can play music or other audio discreetly with the sound going directly to your ears while still letting you hear what's going on around you. You can get prescription lenses added to these as well.
Echo Show 5 (2019) with Blink Mini
$55 (was $115)
Several Echo Show bundles are on sale ahead of Prime Day, and they effectively get you the Blink Mini indoor security camera for $10 (rather than $35). This particular bundle features the 2019 Echo Show 5, which is already on sale for $45, as mentioned earlier.
The Blink Mini is an HD 1080p indoor camera that be easily set up to monitor what's going on inside your home while you're away. Like other Echo devices, you can control it using the Alexa app and check its live view.
Echo Show 8 (2021) with Blink Mini
$140 (was $165)
Here's another Echo Show-Blink Mini bundle, only this time you get the new 2021 Echo Show 8, which is full price at $130 on its own currently. Once again, the deal is that you're getting the Blink Mini for $10 here. The Echo Show 8 features an 8-inch HD touchscreen with a 13 MP camera that uses auto-framing to keep you centered. You can also turn it into a digital frame to display all your favorite photos on a loop. The usual Alexa voice-control capabilities are available as well.
Echo Show 5 (2021) with Blink Mini
$95 (was $120)
The newest Echo Show 5 is also available in a bundle that gets you the Blink Mini for $10. It's a very similar device to the 2019 Echo Show 5, so unless you particularly care about having the 2021 model's improved camera for video calls or the new Deep Sea Blue color, you may want to opt for the deal on the 2019 Echo Show 5 instead. Currently, the newest Echo Show 5 isn't discounted separately.
