19 new cases in city, positivity rate 0.5%

Gurgaon: The city recorded 19 new Covid cases on Sunday, taking the total tally to 1,80,494. Two deaths were also reported during the day. The current positivity rate is 0.5% and the number of active cases stands at 375, according to official data.
As of now, the fatality rate in the city is 0.3% and so far, 872 deaths have been reported.
As many as 53 people recovered on Sunday and with this, the total number of recoveries has gone up to 1,79,247. The recovery rate is 99.4%.
On Sunday, 87 people were sent to institutional quarantine facilities and so far, 15,89,774 people have been put under surveillance by the health department. In the past 24 hours, the health authorities collected 3,420 samples for antigen and RT-PCR tests. Till now, 15,77,188 samples have been sent for testing, of which 13,93,274 turned out to be negative. The results of 3,420 tests are yet to come.
Currently, 30 Covid patients are in hospitals across the city and 345 people are in home isolation.
