Neemuch: In a major breakthrough, Baghana police in Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh arrested six persons, including three women in connection with human trafficking. Police also recovered one 15-year-girl abducted and was tried being sold for Rs 1 lakh by accused.

According to information, Baghana police on March 10, one Rani Meghwal, of Ekta Colony, Neemuch has lodged a complaint with Baghana police claiming that her 15-year-old daughter was abducted by some unidentified accused. Following her statement, police registered case against unidentified person under Section 363 (kidnapping) of Indian Penal Code.

Police engaged cyber cell as well as took help of their informers. Based on preliminary investigation, police came to know about Rajendra Singh alias Raja Banna, of Sindhpan village under YD Nagar police station limit in Mandsaur and Razia, wife of Shahadat Ali Pathan, of Bhagwanpura Talai near Indira Nagar, Neemuch had one minor girl in their possession. Police came to know about their location in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan.

Police rushed to the place and detained both Rajendra and Razia. Duo informed police that the kidnapper is in Surat, Gujarat with another person from Bhilwara. Police rushed to Surat and arrested Dashrath Singh Rajput, a resident of Shivpur Bhilwara district.

Three others who were arrested in the matter include, Santosh Kunwar, Kailash Kunwar and Tej Singh Rajput. During interrogation, accused informed that four-day after abduction, they forcibly married a girl to Dashrath Singh Rajput taking Rs one lakh from him.

Following this, police registered case against accused under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code.
