    Petrol reaches Rs 102.58 per litre in Mumbai after another hike in fuel prices on Monday

    Oil Marketing Companies hiked petrol and diesel prices by 29-31 paise on Monday after hitting the pause button on Sunday.

    Petrol now costs Rs 104.59 per litre in Bhopal while diesel in the Madhya Pradesh capital is selling at Rs 95.91 per litre.
    Petrol reached Rs 102.58 per litre and diesel rose to Rs 94.70 per litre after another hike on Monday.

    Oil Marketing Companies hiked petrol and diesel prices on Monday after hitting the pause button on Sunday.

    In the national capital, petrol is now being sold at Rs 96.4 per litre and diesel at Rs 87.28 a litre.

    Petrol crossed te Rs 100-mark in Ladakh also where it is retailing at Rs 101.95 per litre.

    Petrol now costs Rs 104.59 per litre in Bhopal while diesel in the Madhya Pradesh capital is selling at Rs 95.91 per litre.

    With Monday's hike, fuel prices have now increased on 24 days and remained unchanged on 21 days since May 1.

    Prices of petrol and diesel differ from state to state based on the extent of local taxes. Rajasthan levies the highest value-added tax (VAT or sales tax) on petrol and diesel in the country
