Favorite condiments with low calories for lean bulk? Other than hot sauce...

I absolutely LOVE hot sauce: Sriracha, Franks, Texas Pete, etc but am tired of everything tasting spicy. I broke my leg 6 months back and had a lot of atrophy, lost about 8-10 lbs. So I'm trying to put that muscle back on and do it leanly, but I can only cover so much food with hot sauce. Need something new.

Mustard is decent but not my favorite meal after meal. Salsa is good on eggs but bit limited what I can put it on.

What's your favorite? I need some new sauce to smother my food in.

You are bulking. Why do you think you need low cal options?

If you are eating 200 calories over maintenance a day, it does not matter if 200 of your daily calories come from high-cal sauces.

For me, personally, a little BBQ sauce goes a long way.

One of my favorite sauces on chicken hands down is Chakas Mmm sauce. They also make a sugar free version but i can’t vouch for that.

Also most marinades will flavor your food and burn off on the grill.

Use smoke chips and a smoker box on your grill. Apple wood smoke, mesquite, hickory, etc will all flavor your food with 0 calories.

For meats or plant-based substitutes, Worcestershire sauce is pretty good if you just want some flavor and nothing else.

    Coconut aminos I guess?

But I just use ketchup, mustard, hot sauce, etc most of the time…

I don’t worry about the condiment calories
The power of carbs compels me!

Tony Chachere's Cajun seasoning is my go to seasoning. So is Montreal steak seasoning.
