
E3 2021, the biggest video gaming event is upon us and you can stream it live, this year. The Electronic Entertainment Expo, also known as E3 usually takes place in Los Angeles. This year the event will be held digitally between June 12 and June 15 owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. The biggest video game companies and developers including Nintendo, Microsoft (Xbox), Ubisoft will come together and showcase new titles at the gaming event.
E3 2021: livestream: Date, time, when and where to watch
This year, you will be able to livestream the E3 event from the comfort of your homes starting June 13 at 12:30 AM IST. At E3 2021, Microsoft gave a glimpse at Halo Infinite, perhaps the biggest game coming to the Xbox Series X/S. The new Halo Infinite trailer, made from in-game footage, looks more polished and visually engaging. The latest game in the Halo franchise will be available as the single-player and multiplayer mode. Halo Infinite multiplayer will be free-to-play, as announced by Microsoft. Both the multiplayer portion and the single-player will launch this year.
Bethesda has announced another 10 Bethesda games that are available to play on Game Pass, including Doom Eternal which is getting a next-generation upgrade (60fps with ray-tracing).

At E3 2021, Bethesda announced a trailer for Starfield today. There isn’t much gameplay, but we do know that the game is exclusive to the Xbox Series X/S and PC. It will be out on November 22. Hopefully, Bethesda’s first new RPG series in 25 years, Starfield is what the Xbox Series X needs right now.

The rumoured launch of the Nintendo Switch Pro ahead of the company’s Switch Games-oriented E3 keynote has been going around for over a week now. However, as the date closed in, hopes of seeing a Switch Pro launch seemed like a lost cause.
However, a new GameStop ad has reportedly leaked the new system, calling it the ‘new Nintendo Switch’. It even mentions a couple of offers including “$50 Extra Credit when you trade select systems toward purchase of a New Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite or Xbox Series X/S” and “Offer valid on systems traded toward purchase of New Nintendo Switch/Nintendo Switch Lite or Xbox Series X/S.”
Late last night, Ubisoft kicked off E3 2021 with jam-packed announcements. The leading maker had a lot to show at its E3 showcase event, including the upcoming Rainbow Six: Extraction. However, the surprise reveal of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora shocked many in the gaming fraternity, including the members of the press. Ubisoft hasn't said much but the game is said to be a "new, standalone story" in which players play as the Na'vi, the blue-skinned alien natives of the planet Pandora. The game, which is based on James Cameron’s Avatar, will release in 2022.
Far Cry 6: Ubisoft also revealed a new trailer that shows a deeper look at ruthless Far Cry 6 antagonist Antón Castillo. Check out the trailer here. Far Cry 6 is also set to get a new season pass where players will be able to play as antagonists from older Far Cry-series games.
The much-hyped first-person shooter Battlefield 2042 is set to release on October 22 for PlayStation 4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The trailer of the game looks dope, and there are high expectations from Battlefield 2042. The new Battlefield game is coming after 3 long years.
Ahead of its big E3 showcase, Microsoft's Xbox head Phil Spencer and CEO Satya Nadella opened up on the company's plans to expand the Xbox ecosystem by bringing a streaming stick to the market. The idea is to hook up an Xbox streaming stick to their TVs and xCloud gaming service. Microsoft sees the future of gaming as less of a console and more of a subscription-based. The company bets on its Game Pass service.
It's official: PS5 exclusive Godfall is coming to PlayStation 4. The announcement was at Gearbox Entertainment's E3 press conference. The much-hyped game was launched on the PS5 last year as a console exclusive, but now the developer is coming to the PS4. Godfall will come to the PS4 in August.
Microsoft will hold its E3 2021 games showcase on Sunday, June 13 at 10:30 pm IST. This is a joint press conference by Xbox and Bethesda Games. The showcase will focus “on games from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and many game creators from our partners around the world.” Expect a big focus on Halo Infinite from 343 Industries, the upcoming exclusive title for the Xbox Series X/S.
