COVID-19: MP’s body count rises to 8,552

Bhopal, June 13 (UNI) The fatality figure owing to the ‘millennium scourge’ rose to 8,552 on Sunday in Madhya Pradesh where 18 fresh demises were reported even as the infected tally touched 7,88,183 with 274 fresh instances being detected during analysis of 76,880 specimens.
A Health Services Directorate bulletin issued tonight gave the number of active cases as 4,251. Incidence rate has dropped to 0.3 per cent. Bhopal District had the dubious distinction of spawning the highest 88 new sufferers; Indore 82; Jabalpur 18; Ujjain, Khargone and Betul six each; Rewa five and Dhar three. Shivpuri, Satna and 16 others were at zero.

As many as 7,75,380 individuals have recuperated; 780 of them on this very day.
