Suryapet: Vehicles set up at the Telangana-Andhra Pradesh border at Ramapuram junction near Kodad in the district with an increase in traffic, along with police allowing vehicles only after checking the e-pass.
After further relaxation from 06:00 to 18:00 in the state of Telangana, people going to their home country in AP want to return to Hyderabad to resume their work here. With this, the flow of vehicles to Hyderabad on the national highway No. 65 suddenly increased from Sunday morning.
Three police teams were deployed at the state border to check the e-passes before the vehicles were allowed into the state. Police returned the vehicles, which did not have e-passes. Vehicles were lined up for more than miles on the state border.
Police made it clear to the vehicle that e-pass is mandatory to enter the state until the state government makes an announcement. They asked the people not to plan any trip from Andhra Pradesh to Telangana without an e-pass.
