COVID-19: MP’s body count rises to 8,534

Bhopal, June 12 (UNI) The fatality figure owing to the ‘millennium scourge’ rose to 8,534 on Saturday in Madhya Pradesh where 24 fresh demises were reported even as the infected tally touched 7,87,909 with 337 fresh instances being detected during analysis of 77,838 specimens.
A Health Services Directorate bulletin issued tonight stated that incidence rate has dropped to 0.4 per cent and active cases number 4,775. Indore continued to have the dubious distinction of spawning the highest 96 new sufferers, Bhopal 93, Jabalpur 23, Ratlam nine, etc.

As many as 7,74,600 individuals have recuperated; 985 of them on this very day.
