BHOPAL: Doses of cocktail antibodies have not been utilised in many medical colleges of Madhya Pradesh as these colleges did not find eligible Covid patients with the decline in the number of Covid cases. Even in private hospitals, these doses have not been given to patients.
A cocktail antibody dose is given to mildly infected patients for protection from more severe conditions. It costs 60,000. This treatment uses a combination of Casirivimab and Imdevimab and is popularly called an ëantibody cocktailí.
In Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, a dose was given to a patient just three days ago, so, it will take 10 daysí time to assess and analyse the impact.
Initially, the doses were supplied to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Medical College, Jabalpur, 15 days ago. But, so far, no dose has been administered as the doctors say they did not find any eligible patients for use of cocktail antibodies injections.
10 days to assess impact

Corona cases arenít coming
