I have a body composition scale, it shows me how much muscle mass my body has.
Question is will the muscle mass function on my scale be accurate enough to use to measure my progress in the gym?
Is this something you think I could use to measure my progress or do you think it would be better to use something else if so what would you suggest

combo of scale, tape measure and skinfold. for skinfold the more sites the better, make sure you're properly hydrated and avoid trans fats (they make the fold less pliable and bodyfat hard).
not so much to measure actual bodyfat percentage but to see progress relative to your previous measurements.
if with a tape measure and on the scale nothing changes for a month but you see that your iliac, pectoral and calf mm have gone down you'll know you've lost bodyfat. mirror helps but there are many variables involved with that month to month i.e. body hair hides definition, tanning may make you look leaner, lighting, etc.my info is GOLD
