Mega Millions Numbers For 06/11/21: Did Anyone Win the $20 Million?

There were no winners for the $20 million Mega Millions jackpot for 06/11/21. Here are the winning numbers from Friday night's drawing.

  • First Five: 04-43-56-63-68
  • Mega Ball: 13
  • Megaplier: 4x

Friday's Mega Millions jackpot was worth $20 million, with a cash-value option of $13.8 million. The total jackpot could have increased depending on the number of tickets sold around the country before Friday night's drawing.

According to the Mega Millions website, one person matched all five white balls and won $1 million on Friday. They had also purchased the Megaplier, increasing their prize money to $4 million.

Seven people matched four white balls plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000. One of those ticketholders also had purchased the Megaplier, increasing their prize to $40,000.

The next Mega Millions drawing will be on 06/15/21 and the estimated jackpot prize is $22 million with a cash-value option of $15.3 million.

On Tuesday (06/08/21), one lucky ticketholder in suburban Chicago scooped the top prize of $56 million. The winning numbers in Tuesday's drawing were: 09-22-39-41-54 and the Mega Ball was 19. The Megaplier was 3x.

There was one grand prize ticket sold on Tuesday in Illinois, just three weeks after a ticket in Pennsylvania hit a $516 million jackpot. There were two tickets sold - one in Iowa and one in West Virginia - that matched the first five white balls minus the Mega Ball, for a $1 million prize. If those ticketholders had purchased the Megaplier for an extra $1, their prizes would have been worth $3 million.

How does Mega Millions work?

One of the most popular multi-states lotteries in the country, Mega Millions first launched on August 31, 1996 as "The Big Game." Tickets are sold in 45 states, as well as the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The five states not to sell lottery tickets are Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, and Utah.

Drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at WSB-TV in Atlanta by host John Crow.

Five white balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 70, with one gold Mega Ball drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 25. With nine different ways to win a prize, your chances of winning at least $2 are 1 in 24, according to the Mega Millions website.

If you are a lucky winner, you will have between 90 days and one year to redeem your ticket, depending on local rules and regulations. All jackpot winners are entitled to either a cash option or an annuity option of an initial payout followed by 29 annual payments that are each five percent larger than the previous ones. All prizes are subject to income taxes.
