Srinagar, Jun 12 (UNI) Strongly condemning attack by militants in Sopore, Lt Governor of Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha on Saturday afternoon said perpetrators of violence are the enemies of humanity.
“Strongly condemn the terror attack on civilians and security personnel at Sopore, Baramulla”, Lt Governor said.
He further said, “My sincere condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones in this attack. Praying for the early recovery of injured”.
Mr Sinha said that the perpetrators of violence are the enemies of humanity. Such despicable and cowardly act will not go unpunished.
Two cops of J&K police and as many civilians were killed when suspected militants attacked a naka party at main town Sopore in north Kashmir district of Sopore today.
However, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Vijay Kumar said Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militants are responsible for the attack.
